Where can I download the FULL insrtaller for Adobe Flash?

In order to watch my (saved) videos, I need to install Adobe Flash. I
went to their site using my Win98 computer. It keeps telling me I have
the latest version (Ver 10, which is what Win98 needs). Using my laptop
computer at a WIFI spot, I tried to download the FULL program. It keeps
downloading a 1 meg installed. I dont want to install it on the Laptop,
I want to install it at home on my desktop. (Which as I posted in a
previous message), will not connect using dialup). Besides that, I'd
much rather download the full installer at a WIFI spot, rather than wait
hours at home on dialup. Besides that, I really do nto like anything
being installed to my computer online. I much prefer downloading the
stuff, scanning it for malware and installing it myself. Knowing Adobe,
I'm sure they will install some sort of toolbar or other malware.

Is there any place to download the FULL installer? I want the one for
Firefox. Although I upgraded IE to ver 8, I doubt I'll use it except
for sites that dont render well in FF.

But now that you mention it, I DO have the installer saved on my Win98
computer for ver 10, since ver 10 is the last one that will work on
Win98. I dont need bloated, in fact on the site you suggested, it says
I need a lot more RAM and CPU power than I have for ver 11 and 12.
I guess I'm all set. That is exactly why I save everything I download,
(except junk). I got around 40 gigs of old software, going back to
around 1990.

The problem is that some sites will need the more updated versions of Adobe.
For example, do you ever check anything out on YouTube (e.g: some music OR
some educational videos, etc)? Admitedly, it's kinda like the Wild Wild
West, but there is some good stuff on there, too.

of junk too.

I'm using Flash 10 on my Win98 machine and it never complains on
Youtube. I do occasionally go to Youtube on that computer, but being on
dialup, I just go to a WIFI spot, and using Download Manager in Firefox,
I jsut save then to the computer and watch them later. The junk gets
deleted, and the good one get saved. As far as I know, I think I have
Flash 10 on the laptop too, since I installed it 4 years ago or so, even
though that has XP on it.

Just go to adobe.com and get the offline installer.
There was a critical fix recently, so if you really
want such risky software installed you should at
least get the latest fix.
The Adobe website is poorly designed. It's not
easy to find what you're looking for. But it's there.
I downloaded it a week or two ago. Look for links
to Flash, then follow those to find the offline installer.

One additional note: I've run into a problem several
times where I download the installer, it quits with
an error saying, "failed to initialize", and deletes the
download! So now I never run the file I downloaded,
in case it doesn't work. I copy the download and run
that. The last time I installed Flash for someone, which
was recently, I couldn't get the installer to work at
all. I don't know why. I looked up the error online and
found others who'd had it, but didn't find any useful
explanation. But then I managed to find an MSI version
on the Adobe site and that worked fine.

I can't imagine how Adobe could screw things up so
much. There should be an obvious link, with a simple
installer that just works. They can't seem to manage
any aspect of that process properly.
