Post title should be "Open invitation to a personal vendetta from a
demented stalker"

TIA

Don't mention it.

There is at least one MVP operating in this group. That in itself makes
it *ON* topic - in my opinion. Why are you being 'difficult' again?

Can YOU read the posts at the image I posted?

Discussion of the private messaging between you and the moderator of a
webforum about your bad webforum conduct is off-topic (and therefore
also 'bad conduct') for this unmoderated Win7 group.

That is, you are 'unrestrained' in your bad conduct here, unlike that
bad conduct elsewhere; but you are being admonished for it in the hopes
that someday you might reform.

Speaking for myself, why should I try? I don't click on links without
some indication of their contents. If you want to ask a real question
here, and it's about Windows 7, ask it here.

Putting "MVP" on an off-topic article doesn't make it on topic just
because MVPs are here, any more than putting "taxpayer" because there
are taxpayers here.

Hello Stan

Speaking for myself, why should I try?

Simply because I asked for help? :-)

I don't click on links without some indication of their contents.

You don't know the boss of Microsoft Answers?!! His name is clearly
shown in the link - Mr David Wolters. Do you know how to check if he
does REALLY work for Microsoft?

Seriously, you are very sensible regarding caution before clicking on
links. I wonder, though, how many folk _you_ expect to click on the
links you have placed in YOUR signature block. *DO* people visit your
sites via this group?

If you want to ask a real question here, and it's about Windows 7, ask it here.

Thank you. I DO use Windows 7 on my laptop and HAVE asked for assistance
here before. I have found folk to be generally helpful.

Putting "MVP" on an off-topic article doesn't make it on topic just
because MVPs are here, any more than putting "taxpayer" because there
are taxpayers here.

Just how MANY MVPs do you believe read/post here, Stan?

I had hoped that '...winston' would respond! Perhaps he's just too busy.

D.

OK. I've adjusted the 'Subject' title. Thanks.

TIA

It would have been MORE helpful if you had advised of whether you could,
or could not, read the words at the link. It was/is a simple request to
fulfill.

Would you like to try again 'Nil'?

I've no idea. But -- unlike some -- I prefer not to hide my identity.

I'd rather eat slugs than help support your off-topic delusional
