Default I.E. 10 won't connect to Yahoo

I'm using Windows 7 Home Edition and I.E. 10 as my default web
browser.
Until yesterday, everything worked fine, but today IE 10 won't connect
to the default homepage of YAHOO.

I have the URL correct, tried typing it in by hand and even tried
accessing Yahoo via a link in Google, but it just sits there with the
little circle spinning. When I try Goggle Chrome, it connects
immediately. I do get periodic McAffee security updates.

Any ideas ??

TIA,

Sam

Reset IE to its default settings. Open IE in no-addons mode.
Does the issue still persist after doing the above ?

*** Thanks for the suggestion ... but when I tried it again this
morning,
IE 10 connected to YAHOO without hesitation. I did not change or
reset
anything.
It probably got jealous that I was using Chrome and it fixed itself
....

Thanks again,

Sam

Or Yahoo took a break when you chose to go there. Wouldn't be the first
time a web site didn't load and later did.
