Default Drain color ink cartridge

In refilling a Canon color cartridge, I accidentally injected 2 colors into the wrong holes.

I sucked out as much as I could and refilled them.

But the colors are still off.

I printed this color test page about 30 times in order to use up all the color ink.

The ink level has still not gone down.

(Like it's a bottomless pit.)

Any suggestions ?

Thanks,
Andy

Real encouraging person.

Not !! :-)

Turns out the cartridge was ok.
For some reason, Linux is not getting the colors right.

It printed fine in Windows XP.

But how does Linux affect test pages? Aren't they in the printer
firmware?

It printed fine in Windows XP.

So maybe a Linux ICM file, a color-space
selection in a drawing tool, affected the color ?

Naw, I just have better things to do with my time. :-)

Of course, I avoid inkjets as much as possible.

The printer driver was the culprit.

After upgrading, my color rendition is now excellent.
