Clone or disk image help needed
I would like to take an image of a Linux ext3 installation and restore it to a partition on an external hard drive.
The ext hard drive has 3 partitions. And be able to boot to it. How would I do that ? Do I need to clone it ? Does it matter what file system that the ext drive has ? Thanks, Andy |

You just need a Seagate/Maxtor drive somewhere on the system, even if it is bad. It just needs to report. I have even copied the drive from a Dish DVR with that. It is just a bit copy. |
