Default O.T. Ad Blocking:

I have a Dell XPS 8500, with Windows 7 Professional, SP1,
with Spywareblaster, Malwarebytes, Avast Professional,
Windows Defender and Windows firewall.

1TB HD
Intel (R) Core (TM) i7-33-3770 CPU @ 3.40 GHz 3.40 GHz
Ram 12.0 GB
System type : 64-bit operating system


With all the Ads etc on webpages
I'm wondering if I have my computer
configured correctly.I checked my
plug-ins and extensions

Is there anything else I could do?

Mark,

Ads are a part of a webpage. Although they *could* be carrying malware,
normally they do not.

In other words, malware protection does not help against normal webpage
advertisements.

Is there anything else I could do?


You could take a look at extensions like AdBlock.

To avoid ads?

Are you getting a lot of ads? If so, it's not configured correctly
for what you want.

then Go to Windows 10
This is it last week of Free 10


Avast Professional,
Windows Defender
will need you updates
