Shockwave Flash update repeatedly fails.

Please don't tell me I don't need it, because videos at C-Span require
it, and maybe elsewhere. When it magically disappeared from my Vista
computer, I was okay until I wanted to watch the Republican convention
on C-Span and it screamed bloody murder. By the time I downloaded the
first part, and the second part, etc. I missed most of what I wanted
to watch! Well, 10 minutes.

And those in the FF group, please dont' tell me I shouldn't use XP. I
use the netbook 10 days a year and I'm not buying another netbook for
10 days a year.

The mozilla.support.firefox is best accessed on its own server.
In shorthand form, something like. It looks like you've successfully
posted here before, but I can't figure out exactly how. The header
I see is a mess. Mentions a mailing list as well. And that
you're a NoAuthUser.

Mozilla "newsgroups" are firstly a mailing list. There is no guarantee
of delivery with e-mail protocols: you submit to one server that

Ilias' approval and if performed before the pending submission expires),
you'll notice my posts also have a slew of those mailing list headers.
I don't use e-mail to participate in those newsgroups. I use NNTP. The
headers get added by their NNTP gateway's interface to their mailing
server to then spew out the posts there to those that still access the
Mozilla's mailing lists, er, "newsgroups" via e-mail. So despite that I
accessed their newsgroups via NNTP, those submissions still have to get
delivered to their mailing server (and where submissions will pend
awaiting approval messages from the moderator).

Well, good for them. I would have preferred it if they had propogated
their news via the same servers all my other ng's are on, but perhaps
what you say here has a lot to do with why they didn't.

(I just checked and eternal-sepember does have a firefox group, but
it's in French. Maybe I'll learn French, except it refers to it as
firefox-os. alt.os.comp.fr.firefox-os, or something like that, as if
it's an OS! I guess they are imitating Chrome.

I hadn't noticed that. I did notice his name in the credits for FF,
on the About page, I think, but never looked at his headers.

This worked just fine. The .msi version. Thanks And it's set at
