IE Problem
Win XP Pro all updates.
IE 8 I am at a wifi hotspot that only seems to like IE to log in with. But IE, for some reason, IE has now come up with message saying that I am working offline, which I never do. "The webpage is unavailable because you are offline" Then it says to go to Tools and uncheck Work Offline. I cannot find that to uncheck. Where is it? Please be specific. So how do I keep IE from ever going into this mode? Years working on this laptop and I have never had this problem and have no idea why it started now. Help please. |

Tools : Work Offline ? http://support.kaspersky.com/images/...n13-205015.png On IE9 and IE10, it's in the File menu. Good of Microsoft to move stuff around. http://support.kaspersky.com/images/...n13-205012.png Paul |

I have IE 8.0.6001.18702 It is on the File menu. So found it and unchecked it but ... So why did it turn on? and How to prevent it? |

That would be my guess. Maybe you try to send something, the network is down, and it flips to offline. Paul |
