Default Is Windows Messenger able to communicate with AIM

I just got XP and I thought about downloading AIM since
my friends are on it. But then I saw messenger. My only
concern is that I won't be able to use it with AIM. Can I
talk to people with AIM accounts? Thanks.

Greetings R,

Unfortunately no, if you want to talk to people on AIM, you'll need to an AIM client, see:
