Quicklaunch Icons Gone Wrong

Hi,

I have Windows XP Pro SP1 and I'm having trouble with my
quicklaunch icons changing. They always point to the
right places but the picture displayed in the quicklaunch
bar is generall wrong. The Internet Ecplorer icon looks
like a CD sometimes a stack of paper or some other random
icon.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

I suggest you visit MS-MVP Kelly's website at

Note the instructions at the top of the page,
then scroll down to line 164,
(Restore Taskbar to Default Functionality)

Download the file, "xp_taskbar_desktop_fixall.vbs",
then double-click and follow the prompts.

Thanks Jan... I reset it and then changed it to my
pesonal preferences. Only time will tell if it worked
though... thanks for your help!
