Macros?

I often have to fill in my email address, in forms etc.
Can I store it as some kind of macro so I can press a key
combination such as 'Ctrl e' and have the system squirt
the address where the cursor is located? I also have some
programable buttons on my Compaq keyboard, could these be
reassigned from say 'Search' to 'my email address', or
my 'house address' etc.
