Win98 2 XP kills printers
I upgraded several workstations from W98 to XP and now the
network printers will not print. The printers show up as a "local port" and when I delete them they reappear upon reboot. I can add "new" network printers, but can't get the current printers to work. Any ideas? biz |

try removing the driver too
goto printers and faxes file printerproperties and there you can remove any installed driver "biz" wrote in message ... You pointed me to the right area... here is how I fixed
it.. Highlite "add new printer" Go to "File/Server Properites/Ports/ Delete local port" It was showing the network printer as a local port!!!!
