Default Sharing a local printer

Hi,
I have two pc's connected as peers using a HUB, and they
are both running Windows XP Home. One pc has a local
printer that I want to share. Can be done without having
to network the printer? If so how? Thanks. Dennis

Default Sharing a local printer

Provided both PCs can 'see' each other and have access to each other's
files/folders....

On the PC with the printer attached, go to the Control Panel and doubleclick
on Printers and Faxes. Right click on the printer in question and select
Properties. Ensure you set it for sharing and that the shared name is no
longer than 12 characters/numbers with no spaces in the name and no illegal
characters, including but not limited to *, _ and -. Click on OK.

Go to the other PC, simply choose Add a Network Printer on the Add Printer
Wizard, browse over to the PC with the printer and it should appear.
