Default Printer Install- Lost Internet Connection!

Hello , I've just installed a Lexmark X63 all- in -one printer, but as soon
as I turn off my PC, on rebooting I lose my Dial up connection - which is
still in My Network Places.

I haven't connected a phone line to the fax part as I have no need for this
at present, does this make any difference?

I have tried re-installing it many times, works fine while I'm on line but
as soon as it's turned off and back on, it;s gone again !

Any help would be great

Thanks
