Logon a domain controller from winxp
I am using WinXp pro Sp1, after setup Network ID to join
local domain controller(DC) without error and then restart computer. When logon screen prompted, I entered user name and password(corrected) to logon on DC but it returned the error "The local system policy does not permit user logon interactively". I changed to local user(WinXP user, logon workstation only) then found error in event log: eventid 534) What is the problem? I changed user name and password of winxp to the same of DC account but still error. please help me to resolve this problem Thanks in advance pls. send mail to me: |

Logon a domain controller from winxp
When your computer is part of a domain, all user accounts reside on the
domain controller. You will need to verify the policy settings on the domain controller as well as the user account your trying to use even exists. -- Paul. "Tan" wrote in message ...
