Default Adware

Try downloading Ad Aware from your favorite download site
(download.com, etc.)

Once you run a scan through that program, you should be
able to eliminate all that you don't need.

How do I remove adware? I have tried the removal tools

and programs and they did not work. I have tried the OS
CD and gotten instructions from Symantec which did not
work. I restored the system with system restore but when
I run Norton I am still infected with adware which is
causing my computer to not load programs properly and I am
not able to access help, search and run from the start
menu. Can anyone give me step by step instructions for
removal for XP?
