Migrating PC from one Domain to another - Problem
We are trying to migrate a PC with Win XP to a Win2000
domain. Once we restarted the machine it doesn't recognise any users on the new domain, nor the old user name and password from the original domain. Basically we are now locked out of the PC and cannot log into it to change any settings. Any tips or solutios? The procedure we followed to add the PC to the network was the following: 1) My computer Icon on desktop - properties - Network Identification tab 2) Network ID button 3) Selected business network whereupon it asked for an account with network privilages which we gave (administrator rights user + password) 4) After giving the password and user with permission to join the network the pc requested a re-boot, after which we can no longer log-in with any old or new accounts. |
