Opening attachments
In Windows 2000 when opening an attachment you are prompted with the choice
of Opening or Saving the document. In XP Professional I am only receiving the Save prompt. Where can i change the setting to allow the Open feature to appear? |

Opening is the same as Saving.
When you Save a file, you choose where exactly to save it (e.g. in My Documents) When you choose to pen a file,Windows copies the file in a temporary folder and then opens it -- " Let''s beat malware black and blue " " No new epidemic of all kind of malware - Panda TruPrevent " Certisified from Microsoft BG " Protection and Security for Windows XP with SP 2" "ssills" wrote: In Windows 2000 when opening an attachment you are prompted with the choice of Opening or Saving the document. We do not want to Save the document; we simply want to open it. In XP, only
Save or Cancel appears. No Open is available. Am I missing something here? "Panda_man" wrote: Opening is the same as Saving.
