How to print a hard copy of the file names in a folder?

From command prompt redirect output from DIR command to a file:

dir "C:\documents and Settings\Username Here\My Documents\files.txt"

You can then load files.txt into a program like Notepad, Wordpad, Word
or OpenOffice.org Write for printing in the desired font.

There are also applications for this task like
http://www.dirfile.com/dirprinting.htm (probably a LOT of others)

Google is your friend.
