i am thinking about reinstalling xp on my laptop. with the options of sp1 and sp2, could i only install sp2 only? i assume sp2 covers whatever sp1 is trying to do. thanks for advice |

SP2 includes SP1 updates so it is unnecessary to install SP1, just install
SP2 and subsequent security updates from the Windows Update site. Note: Do not install drivers from the Windows Update site, get driver updates from the vendor's site.
