USB mouse & keyboard legacy question
I'm running XP Home Edition on an Asus P4C800-E deluxe board. The bios is
default for the board. I have USB 2.0 support and no issues with USB controllers that I'm aware of. Right now in the CMOS settings, my USB Legacy setting is on (auto). I take it that XP is determining how this support is being used with this setting? Question is this; Right now I'm using both a mouse and keyboard on PS/2 ports. If I install a mouse and a keyboard that use USB, should I or do I have to, enable Legacy in the CMOS settings, or is it ok to leave it where it is now on (auto)? Many thanks Dudley |
