Default numeric keys on Thinkpad

Hi. My sister has an old IBM thinkpad.
She's not sure how it happened but the numeric pad is activated which means
that all the right had keys on the keyboard are numbers instead of letters.
Normally you would hold the Fn key while pressing F10 or such, but we have
pressed every singel F key (that wasn't swearing) and CANNOT get the letters
to come back. Why does this have to be a problem. You would think there
would be somewhere in the control panel that would able you to put the
keyboard back to default. Even rebooting didn't take it back.
Anyhow now she's getting desperate coz there's absolutely nothing she can do
now on it while it's like this.
I've looked all over the IBM website but can't find a solution.
Pls help.

Sorted!
As soon as I sent this I tried Fn + K (thinking K for Keyboard) and that did
it.
