Seen the price of an external hard drive that works through a USB port
lately? We wouldn't have to wait for all our data to flow through the
Internet either.

And then when you get robbed or your house burns down, who do you have
to turn to?

Well, in that case you also wouldn't have a computer to apply the backed-up
software to. Besides which for the price of your 1 year 1GB "special" I
would rather buy a 250-300GB external hard drive (about the same price),
back up my stuff on it, and leave it at one of my friends houses. And I know
what you would say next - what about a fire... Well what would the chances
of my house and my friends house both burning down at the same time be?
Unless you start both fires...

And this is completely off the subject anyway, because this is a newsgroup
where people go to give and receive help for problems. You shouldn't be
posting your garbage here.

Unless you have a problem that needs diagnosing... Problem: Brain
Malfunction, Solution: Lobotomy

Too expensive, other known brands do it for less, and have known support

This is particularly stupid spam. I just bought a small NAS (250 GB) for
a client for $130. They already have the DVD burner to burn disks and
take them off-site. Maybe you should try selling body part enlargers
instead. If you already do, don't flog them here.

And you are spamming us here because?

The vast majority of people who have high speed internet, have it in only
one direction - incoming. Have you the faintest idea as to how long it would
take Mr. Joe Average to upload 10 gig of data to your computer using the
outbound datalink on even cable internet, which is about 300-400 kbps. How
about 2-3 hours for every 100 meg of information uploaded.

Mostly only enterprise corps use online backup, and they need guarantees.
They also have T1 lines or better, same speed in both directions.

You had best do your homework.

Certainly, because his pipe is likely too small for the purpose.

If we can't even trust you to not SPAM the newsgroups, do you really expect us to trust you with our private information?

What if "you're" house burns down"
