I know that this is old. But is anyone would have a recent copy of it. The
revision I have is dated of 1999 Rev.D91xv352. Or where can I get a new
version.

Is this an XP driver (In windows\system32\drivers) or DOS driver, used to
activate the CD in real DOS mode?

If the former, the standard 32-bit CD drivers rarely fail to work, I've
never needed to change them. If the latter, I use Samsung's SSCDROM.SYS for
bootdisks - it works with most makes, not just Samsung.

Hi,

I forgot that I was a member of driverguide.com and I found the sscdrom and
a version dated of 2002 of the oakcdrom. But the revision number is still the
same as the old one.

I'll try them on my friend computer.

Thanks for the help

Might this new machine have a SATA CD/DVD drive?

You will not be finding a DOS drivers to work with most newer CD/DVD
drives - especially SATA.
It's a sign - time to move away from DOS.
