Many things could be wrong. Your monitor is not getting a signal from the
PC, this could be a bad monitor cable, or a hardware failure in the PC, anything from a bad video card, to bad RAM, a bad modem, or a bad anything else in the case. I would start be unplugging your PC, open the case, and reseat everything, if this is beyond you I would suggest a reputable repair shop. -- ---- Crosspost, do not multipost http://www.blakjak.demon.co.uk/mul_crss.htm How to ask a question http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 How to Post http://www.dts-l.org/goodpost.htm __________________________________________________ _______________________________ "The Hunter" wrote in message ... Hello
In this case you can try the follwing steps: 1. When you switch on the computer, at the same time,,, start pressing the F8 key again and again, until you get the windows Advanced boot menu options. 2. Then from the list of options select the " Last known good configuration " and press enter. Again press enter on the next screen. If the issue is resolved, dont ry the next steps. 3. Again start pressing the F8 key again and again, until you get the windows Advanced boot menu options and select the Safe mode and press enter. 4. Now in safe mode . you will get message. Click on yes. Then go to start-all programs-accessories-system tools-system restore. 5. In the system restore, click on next and select the date in the calender on which the computer was working fine. The date is highlighted in dark colour. 6. If then also the issue perists again start pressing the F8 key again and again, until you get the windows Advanced boot menu options and select the " Enable VGA mode" and boot with it. If all these steps fails then this is the hardware issue and contact the computer manufacturer. Regards Himanshu Dogra MCSE |
