Running Mozilla Thunderbird 45.xx.
Where can I find the number of messages in any given thread?
Tried Google but no luck, I see reference numbers but they only go up to
18 or 19.
I know I am missing it somewhere but can't find it.
Pointers and help appreciated.

Regards, Rene

So, you don't know either! I know where Mozilla.Org is.

In the message pane, just above it, you can see
"... Sender JunkStatusIcon Date Total". The Total column
is the count of message in a thread. I cannot find something
to edit the column headers up there, so maybe the set of entries
up there is fixed ? I'm using an older version. if you click a column
header, the pane is sorted by that field (so your messages can become
unthreaded-in-view if you do that).

Then you should've asked over in the proper newsgroup that you claimed
to have already known about. Did you also plan on asking in a gardening
newsgroup about how to change your tires?

Guess I should have Put OT in my post Since I had already tried the
Mozilla group and googled without finding my answer.
But Vangard seems to think he is the newsgroup police and it becomes
rather irksome
