Smart smokers
These smart smokers can't be smart because if they were smart then they
would know that this newsgroup is for discussing Windows 10 problems and trepidations. On the other hand, they are smart enough to destroy this newsgroup like they have done to (alt.os.linux) where you hardly see any body posting anything.

Some groups have disappeared but some are still thriving. I thought YouTube was was it for intelligent discussion until about six months ago when Google decided to trash all of its user moderation features, including mutual blocking. Now it has gone back to being a cesspool of foulmouthed senseless trolls.

The headers of your post do not divulge which NNTP client you use to access the Usenet. Perhaps you need to get a better NNTP client, one that lets you define filters. Then YOU can decide YOUR view of Usenet. If you are too lazy to define filters then you get what others want to give you. I don't see any of that "smoking" noise of which you complain. I use filters. They work very well.

They go off the side of my screen after a while, so you can be assured I cannot read them, because I cannot click on them. All I can see is the lead article and the article count on the thread.
