Fresh install of Creator edition?
Hi All,
When I finally get some free time, I was planning on wiping and reinstalling my W10 virtual machine. I will reuse the old virtual hard drive. Question: will the installer whine about me reusing my old key? Many thanks, -T |

If that's not good enough for you, boot a Linux LiveDVD (ISO) in the VM, and zero out the contents of each partition as you see fit. Then, install. The installer should really be formatting the partition(s) before it begins. ******* If two computers are connected to the Internet, and are using the same key, this should get noticed rapidly. I don't have anything to offer concerning other scenarios. Like, does the OS *need* to "Call Home" at some frequency ? So far, not that I've seen. I have one computer "frozen" at 10586, and nothing weird has happened to it yet. Paul |
