Default Windows Xp SP2 afterwards

I have had success with the sp2 upgrade, my system works better than before,
all apps and hardware still work. (5 year old system, P3 500 mhz) Since I
do not want to revert back to sp1 configuration, are there any files that I
can erase/remove to gain some of my HD space back.??? TIA Mike.

Hi Roger - Also, be sure that you re-check the Specific Issues threads in
the forum. There are some recent issues posted there that may be of
interest.

Hi Mike,

Yes, go he http://forum.aumha.org/viewtopic.php?p=43101
and do Alex Nichol's short list of "tidying up" things which
will free some space.

Also a good idea to do a defrag afterward as the SP-2
install can leave your HD pretty fragmented. Like you, my
install went without problems and I'll be doing the Nichol
recommendations in another day or so after I've checked
every single application out. All my most used have been
checked, though, and not a problem anywhere.
