Fax driving me to drink...
Just added the xp fax today and was confused about configuring it. It says
put in an TSID and an CSID, says they are usualy numbers with string text..What is string text? I put in my phone number as my fax number, my phone number and name as TSID and again my phone number and name as CSID. Problem is I have been able to send a fax, but everytime I try to receive it stops after about 30seconds and says there was an error receiving. Please some one tell me what is TSID + CSID ( examples please) also if I could get to receive fax as well as send...well that would be a bonus. Hope to hear soon Lethal -- Thank You |

Fax driving me to drink...
Even after reading the information you suggested, I'm afraid I'm still
confused...Part 7 TSID I'm thinking for information I put in my identity which again I'm putting my phone/fax number and name and at Part 9 I'm thinking should I put in the phone/fax number and name of the person I am sending the fax to? In which case I'd need to use the wizard to set up every fax individualy...Could you send me an example of these 2 parts. I'd be very grateful. Thank you for answering me so quickly Lethal "Thorsten Matzner" wrote: lethal_assignation wrote: Just added the xp fax today and was confused about configuring it. The difference: CSID is the info that is send out when someone send you a fax (he can see this data in its own fax machine if the machine supports this and is so able to verify that the correct number has been dialed). TSID is the info that is transmitted with the fax and is printed on the fax at the recipient's side. -- (tm) |
