installing backup on XP
XPHome using mfrs disk or restore partition of hard drive
valueadd folder can not be located. XPPro using MS Disk valueadd folder and then msft folder can be located but ntbakup is then nowhere in sight. How then does one install MS Backup? |

NTBackup does not exist on OEM CD.

Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Backup C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntbackup.exe On XP Pro CD it's not in the Value Add folder. On XP Pro CD it's in D:\I386\NTBACKUP.EX_ NTBACKUP.EX_ is the compressed version of NTBACKUP.EXE -- Hope this helps. Let us know.
