Default partitioning

I'm using XP Home and I partitioned my 40gb drive using Fdisk.exe from my
old Win98 bootup disk. It was my first time, too

OK, I have just had a new 120GB hard disk and I need to
know how to partition it. I understand that I am supposed
to use the installation CD I got when I bought my
computer. Is this correct? I have Windows XP Home Edition
if that is necessary to know. Thanks in advance.
