But I suggest you stop trying to reason with the Commando.

All I do now is the equivalent of prodding him with a stick.

Ever considered growing up?

I did a long time ago, then I practised it. You should try it.

Prodding someone with a stick is not being grown up.

Because idiots don't deserve it. When someone crashes into your car, you don't say nice things to him.

Actually, I would pleasantly exchange insurance information. Why,
for example, risk a fight and maybe criminal charges? After all, the
police might be coming by due to the accident.

You're weird. The first thing I shout is "What the **** are you doing you crazy arsehole?!" You have to make them realise they've done something monumentally stupid.

Sure, but I am also polite. It might not be stupid; it might be
mechanical failure.

Usually easy to spot which it is.

If it is stupidity, it is rather likely that the
person already knows.

I'd say usually they don't realise they're doing it wrong, using the wrong lane at a roundabout, not indicating, etc. Anyway, when I yell at someone, they either yell back, which means they're an idiot, or they say sorry, which means they admit to a mistake.

By your use of 'usually' you sound as though you have had multiple
experiences of this kind of incident.

Which would point to the others not being the culprits ;-)

No, it would just mean there's a lot of idiots on the road.
