In the past I used crackers such as Trinity Rescue Kit to address this kind of problem, as it's not the first time that a relative has called about this. (It's not even the first time that this particular relative has lost his password, and I'm beginning to become annoyed.) It is the first time that a Win10 system was involved, though. Will TRK work with Win10? If not, does anyone have any suggestions for something which will work? Yes, the last time I created a rescue USB stick. However, that was for his old Win7 machine and he's lost it anyway. Once you get your relative back up, set a password hint that even this, um, mentally challenged user can figure out. https://www.isumsoft.com/it/create-a...on-windows-10/ I don't even use a password for Windows. I trust myself and I trust the mice. |

Well, am in the process of backing up.Thanks to those who helped. |
