Explorer crash when showing network properties
Xref: kermit microsoft.public.windowsxp.network_web:181429
Hi, When I try to view the properties on the two network connections I have running on my WinXP, I get an error message that something crashed (netshell.dll - send report to MS...) and after that the shell-explorer restarts. Hence I can't get to my tcp/ip properties. Any Ideas whats causing this? It have been working fine until recently. I have tried the tips in: 825826 - How to troubleshoot missing network connections icons in Windows Server 2003 and in Windows XP - but with no luck. For today I have changed the network settings directly in registry, but that means I have to reboot for the changes to take effect. Thanks in advance! |
