ntfs.sys Corrupted

I am trying to install XP Pro on a brand new machine and it won't install
because or the above error. I have tried two cds both the same, but both
will install on another machine. Changed HDD for new one still get same
error. Tried to install win2000 again same error. Have disable everything
but bare bones and still get the same error. Searched Microsoft site to no
avail. Getting desperate now, can anyone help?
