BIOS on HP Pavillion desktop???
Researching you computer at HP garners the info that you have a Phoenix
BIOS and PS/2 keyboard and mouse. The info also indicates that F2 will get you into Setup. Perhaps you are using a USB keyboard? http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...42518&lang=en& Ritter 197 wrote: It comes up at the very beginning on boot up. Hitting F1 during startup gets me to a number of things, but not the CMOS / BIOS.Same with F2 or DEL or ESC. I am running WindowsXP, SP2 installed. All drivers are up to date. Any ideas ? F10 is the standard BIOS entry key on HP/Compaq systems. I have tried that too. After a session was establisher, which took a long time, a few simple questions took over 20 minutes to answer and finally I just disconnected, because he never came back. If so, try substituting a plug-in keyboard to see if that works. Bill |

Yep, I understand that you and many others share the "screw you we'll do whatever we want" attitude. That doesn't make it RIGHT. Obviously you're too obtuse to understand. Nope. I understand your stance all too well. I deal with dips like you all day long. YOU don't get the point. There are rules of decorum established - and this post, by the nature of the group, did NOT belong here as it had nothing to do with the OS. Twist and turn the subject all you want, but even YOU can not deny that getting into BIOS has absolutely nothing to do with the OS. Period. By admitting THAT you admit you are wrong, and I don't believe you would ever do that. Ever. I would, but your EGO won't allow you to do so. |

There are rules of
decorum established - How about the rules of the group...can you provide them? No, you can't, which means you're making it all up and just being a troll. Shove off, and quit polluting the group with your nonsense. |

So posts need to deal with BOTH. Now, again, what did the original post have to do with XP? NOTHING. Hence, it is out of place. However, you have show time and time again, that you don't have the intelligence to add 2 and 2. |
