Default "aqadcup.exe error" AND disc cleanup will not perform

My pc is operating windows XP home edition - for about 1
week now when starting computer up in the morning I get
the following error:
"aqadcup.exe has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you were in the middle of something the information
you were working on might be lost.
Please tell Microsoft about this problem.
We have created an error report that you can send us. We
will treat this report as confidential and anonymous.
To see what data this report contains click here"
Send Error report Don't send
I have sent the report 2 or 3 times.
Also I believe may be related to this same issue...when I
attempt to run the disc cleanup - I can start it but the
program does not work, it opens and just sits there. If I
click on cancel and try restarting the program it does
not open at all. Help?

The "aqadcup.exe" is not a Windows XP file. It may be a remnant of
a virus or spyware file. Scan you PC for both virus and spyware files,
perform a "disk cleanup" and "checkdisk".

You may wish to try the Panda ActiveScan Free Online Scanner.
Just click on the "Scan your PC" box.
