Default Microsoft XP - Problems with Saving to Favorites

My situation is that since our organization installed XP
(previously was 2000), I cannot add anything to my
internet favorites when I want to save a link for later
reference. Neither ADD TO FAVORITES nor ORGANIZE
FAVORITES works. Our tech people here are at a loss.
Reinstalling does not appear to be the solution and from
what I heard yesterday, one other PC experienced the same
thing, but the tech person who experienced this does not
remember how he corrected it as he was doing many things
and was not documenting all that he did.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!

Thanks.

Not heard of this problem, you might find some help here.

Also if you are using XP Pro. you may need to look in Group Policies

Start-- Run-- type gpedit.msc
