Default fax modem install problem

I seem to be having a problem with my Zoom FaxModem and
the loading. Win XP seems to conflict with the modem at
start up and will not let the opertaing system load as
normal and I get the BSOD.

It says some of the following:

Check hardware vendor for BIOS updates. Check for driver
updates.Disable BIOS memory options such as shadowing
caching.

error message:

Stop 0x0000005, ox80526E59,0xF57964,0x00000000

I recently carried out and upgrade from 2000 to xp. this
wasn't a clean install but an upgrade. Having bought this
new modem which was supposed to work with XP, I now find
that whilst the modem works on a reinstall every time, it
will not work once you have shut the comp down and reboot
again. is there a compatibility problem with this
particular mom and win xp? its a zoom external mini fax
modem model 3090. The company itself helped me but I still
have this problem. I have tried updates for the driver but
it says the best drivers already installed. I don't know
much about BIOS so I haven't touched that stuff. The
computer has a Dell Data fax Modem already built in but
altough that appears to be working properly I cannot get
that to work either with the fax software. Is tere
possibly a conflict with the built in modem and the
external modem I am trying to add?

ANy help is appreaciated. Thanks!

I don't see how anyone here can help with a driver conflict caused by a
third party manufacturer. Your recourse is with the manufacturer.
