MS Outlook on my Win XP SP3 desktop.
Ofice Outlook 2007 SP3

I must set up at least one account.

How do I add a existing eMail account.
It is a imap-mail.outlook.com port 993 setup needed.

I cannot find where to set this up.

Step by step please.

Thank you !

This article claims to set up IMAP with 2007.

Substitute your incoming and outgoing information as appropriate.

After all that and all the options - no go !
Tried port and Auto vs SSL.

Says send but not receive.

I used

Incoming mail server imap-mail.outlook.com
Incoming mail server port 993 (SSL required)
Outgoing (SMTP) mail server smtp-mail.outlook.com

Outgoing (SMTP) mail server port 587 Auto
then 465 SSL

no go.

Keeps asking for password and will not accept it.
Password verified in Thunderbird.

Unfortunately another app I have needs Outlook to get info from.

Select more security options.

Under Two-step verification, choose
"Set up two-step verification" to turn it on
"Turn off two-step verification" to turn it off

You could check and see if TSV is enabled on the account
or something.

You are still spamming your choice of Usenet provider. "--- string\n"
(dash dash dash space string newline) is not a valid signature delimiter
line.

Using MesNews and I do not know how it does this.

I moved to a different PC and now it is Seamonkey.
