XP fax software

This is my first time posting on a newsgroup, so dont' know if I'm doing it
correctly?

Anyway, just bought a new computer. HP with XP home. Tried to send a fax,
did not do anything. Set everything up through the fax wizard. Even made
the fax a default. One time it had a list of faxes in the outbox of the fax
console? One time it started to dial up to send and I canceled because I
was't sure everything was right. I have never been able to send anything
again? I went to windows update and downloaded anything to do with XP and
XP fax? Also the console freezes alot [does not respond]. I have restarted
the computer several times.

Is there known issues with XP fax that I need to know?

Ok, I fixed my own problem, yeppie. I had to uninstall the windows fax
program and reinstall it. Glad XP let's you reinstall it since my PC didn't
come with the OS disk. I reckon since part of my HD is partitioned with the
recovery OS that is why? I am now a gu-ru............................ha
