Greetings,

The service is presently experiencing difficulties. When you sign into Messenger, your
contact information is actually stored on a specific server and you are redirected. As such,
the reason why one account will work whilst another one won't.

Hopefully it should all be resolved shortly.

Hi

Sorry but these messages havn't seemed to help any, everyone is stating the
problem, but know body is giving an informed answer.

I get the same error, it was fine, server dc'd and when I tries to log in
again I too got this error message.

I have tried rebooting, installing msn live and run the connection repair
utility, but stil no joy.

I offer many thanks in advice for anyhelp possible,

Yours

Hi,

The only suggestion is to wait and to try again periodically. It's their problem, not yours.

Hi,

I think it's an informed answer as it indicates that there's nothing you can do, there is no
solution here. It -IS- a server problem, you can reinstall Messenger till the moon falls
out of orbit, it's not going to help.

Hi,

Some servers (not all) in the Messenger server farm are down. You cannot do anything but
simply try again later.

Hi,

Like any modern NOC, at the MSN NOC there is a real-time monitor for all Messenger, Hotmail,
etc. servers, they know instantly when something has broken.
