Disconnect after Close of IE / Outlook

Hi,

I have a problem in that when we are connected to the net and then close all Ie sessions the system does not come up with the Stay Connected or Disconnect dialogue box.

How can I set the dial up connection to bring up this box as what tends to happen is that the machine stays connected to the net after we have closed all IE and outlook sessions.
