When will the finished SP2 be out?

Greetings Charlie,

Windows XP Sp2 will be out in a couple of weeks or so. It's already in it's
final stages and Microsoft has just released the RC2 of Service Pack 2.

As soon as Service Pack 2 is out, I do recommend everyone upgrading to SP2.

RC2 has a lot of problems. I hope they fix them all before releasing it.
Two weeks is definitely not enough time to do that.

It will be released when MS determines it's ready to be released.
That date is still undecided and could be tomorrow or next year.

I believe that is incorrect, but even if it is not it doesn't matter to me.
There are 17 updates I currently have not installed. I can secure my system
without any outside help.

My, aren't we proud of ourselves! It works on Frank's 'test box' so
