Default user account bug in xp?

I have had this interesting problem multiple times, and
perhaps is some kind of bug in XP....
(I'm running XP Home)
It occurs when creating a new user,

when creating a new user you are first prompted to enter
a username, after that there is another step I think
which is the one you enter the account type etc, it is
either here or the next step (if there is one) that this
seems to occur...

if you are on the 2nd (or 3rd?) step of creating a new
user and click "back" (or previous?) then go forward
again (even if you have not changed the username)...
complete the rest of the steps to create the new user
eg - you create a "user" called "myuser" account.

logoff...logon as the user you were to create the account

control panel - users (your new user isn't there)

start run - "control userpasswords2" (new user not listed
there either)

logoff...
try to logon as your new user
....IT WORKS

....though as its a user and not administrator, it cannot
view other users in control panel/users.

No account on my computer can view the new user!

I've had this happen a few times, and dont really like
the idea of these user accounts being there!!!

The problem may be caused by clicking back while creating
the user (which i cannot remember if i did using control
panel/users or start run "control userpasswords2")
or it may be caused by opening "control userpasswords2"
before having logged off/in again.

Either way:

1) Is this issue known of?

2) Can you delete this accounts?

3) Can you edit them so they actually appear!?

It seems a very odd thing to happen I think in general

I wonder if anyone has had the same problem!
