Random restart with Error message
This problem has been going on since about March of 2005. The computer I
built a month sooner started to randomly reset itself. Generally before it does, the computer will kind of freeze for a second, followed by a click somewhere inside the computer (which it does on every startup). After it restarted, I get an error message. However, this error message will randomly take anywhere from 5 seconds to 5 minutes to appear. I've run 4 different anti-virus programs (Panda, Housecall, Norton, and AVG), and none of them have turned anything up. I also tried to reinstall windows, but the problem continued after that. Here is a copy of the error report. I know its not exactly readable, but maybe it could help some: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...tain/error.jpg My computer is running: XP Pro with SP2 Intel Pentium 4 3.0E with a Thermaltake Heatsink/fan Soyo motherboard (compatable, but where i feel the problem may be) Corsair 512x2 dual channel ram (DDR400) Seagate 160 GB Harddrive eVGA GeForce 5200 (last product I can remember adding prior to the problem occuring) This is just one of several minor bizarre problems I am having also, though I consider this most severe. If anyone is able to help, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you. |
