problem w\SP2

even though i've got SP2 installed in my system, in my update history it
say's that SP2 was a failure & i searched for other options to find the
problem, but nothing seems to be helping me on this matter, is because my
validating windows could be a problem or would i have to re-install SP2?

The update history will show all attempts, success and fails.
If SP-2 installation failed sometime, that is normal.
Also the history only shows install attempts from Windows Update.
If SP-2 was installed from CD or other form of Network Install, it will not
be in the history.
So if SP-2 is installed, everything is normal.

Reinstall the SP2.

There may not be a problem, if not, reinstalling SP-2 accomplishes nothing.
