post script driver - printing PDFs
i have two pdf files - PDF1.2 and the same converted to PDF1.4 - this file is
a scanned document from HP scanner - the trouble is, that file generated by post script driver from PDF1.2 has the image coded by RLE, but files from PDF1.4 are coded by DCT, i cant force customers to scan to other format or to convert their documents before they print them, but the difference bethween sizes is huge... the question is: why is image once coded by RLE and once by DCT, when original is in DCT? how can i control the process of creating postscript files? thank you for answers |
