Default cannot check hotmail, or get onto messenger

I had the same problem, I could not log into MSN
messenger, or hotmail. After hours of searching on
different message boards, I found one that worked.

All I had to do was....
-Go to the start menu
-Select 'run...' and type in "RegSvr32 Softpub.dll"
exatly like that (minus the quotation marks of course).
You should get a message that says something about it
working.
-Then try to log in, and it should be good again =)

It worked for me, so i guess it should work for others.

-----Original Message-----
Hey,
For about half a year now, my xp doesn't let me sign

into homtail or windows messenger. If I go to
hotmail.com and try to sign in, it says page cannot be
displayed and I cannot go to .net or anything, although
the .net service says its good. If I try to sign into
windows messenger or msn messenger, it says it cannot
find my password and blah blah, like everyone else's
problems were. I was just wondering if there's anyway to
get my hotmail back because I think thats why it won't
let me sign in, just cause .net and homtail doesnt work.
So, if anyone could be please help me, that would be
great!
.
